4th ROUND FIM MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MX2 – GUADALAJARA, MEXICO

MAX ANSTIE 8th IN A TRUBLED GP OF MEXICO MX2

MAX ANSTIE, GP OF MEXICO, HONDA GARIBOLDI

In the fourth round of the Motocross World Championship in Guadalajara, Mexico, the british Max ANSTIE faced a rough weekend of racing, with dust problems on the saturday which have prevented the majority of the riders to race in the qualifying heat and with some engine settings due to the altitude which couldn’t allow a perfect tuning of his CRF for the races on the Sunday. However Anstie could finish 8th and 9th of the two motos where he tried to avoid mistakes and bring home as many points as possible with twelve Grand Prix still to be raced this season.

Anstie’s team mate Aleksandr TONKOV suffered a minor injury the weekend before the departure for Mexico and he was forced to miss the two overses events. Tonkov will be back for the GP of France the first weekend of June.
