FIM MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – ROUND #12 – FINLAND

DIFFICULT WEEKEND FOR PHILIPPAERTS IN FINLAND

The twelve round of the MX World Championship was back after many years on the old and sandy track of Hyvinkaa in Finland.

David PHILIPPAERTS did not have one of his best weekend on the very deep sand of Hyvinkaa and could manage to finish a good 13th on the first moto of the GP after starting in fourth position and loosing some places in one of the first turns of the race, he then rode on a good rhythm till the end. In the second moto DP19 was again very near the top ten but was forced to abandon toward the end of the race due to the proggressive loss of the clutch. Now with the next GP’s, we will return on tracks which could suit more the former world champion !

The young russian Vseva BRYLYAKOV on the very difficult finnish track rode again a good second moto where he finished 17th after a start at the back of the field he was able to go through the field and take 4 points without any mistake and after crashing in the first heat. With more races and experience the young Vseva keeps growing !

The next Grand Prix will be held in two weeks time on the new track of Lausitzring in Germany, stay tuned and follow us !
