The 14th round of the FIM Motocross World Championship was back once more on the beautiful track of Loket in Czech Republic and again the very hot temperatures made this Grand Prix very testing for riders and bikes.

David PHILIPPAERTS after having missed the last two editions of the Czech GP due to his past injuries in 2011 and 2012 and after the very good Grand Prix of last week in Germany was once more riding in the top places all weekend bringing his CRF450R Pro Circuit at the 7th place overall of the GP but also scoring a top six in the first moto when riding very aggressively he could pass many riders in front of him. At the end another very strong and convincing performance for the former world champion who is now in the 9th place overall of the championship and could point to the eight place for the last three remaining GP’s of the season !

The young russian Vseva BRYLYAKOV had a very positive weekend in Czech Republic taking good points in every moto and finishing 17th and 18th. In the first race Brylyakov was able to battle for many laps in 7th position and only a small mistake forced him to reduce his rhythm but he could pass in the first part of the race riders like Max Anstie and Ferris without any awe. After only seven GP’s the young russian is showing that he can have his own place in the MX2-GP class !

Giacomo Gariboldi, Team Manager Honda Gariboldi:

Another good weekend for both riders, DP has confirmed its improvements and now he is a regular top 6/7 contender and he will be in top form for the MXoN at the end of September, while Brylyakov pleased us because he finished three times in the top 18, saturday included and he was able to ride for a few laps with the top riders in the first moto.
