Once again the fast slovenian champion TIM GAJSER has proven his consistency this season by finishing twice 9th in the two races on the very tough and demanding dutch track of Valkenswaard!

The weekend started with a great 4th finishing place in the qualifying race of the Saturday for Gajser on his CRF250RW who seemed to handle well the rough circuit. On race 1 on Sunday after a great start in third, Gajser crashed in the second turn and started last but with a great ride could come through the pack and finish a very good 9th. In race 2 the slovenian was around the sixth place riding well behind the leaders but made a couple of mistakes and lost some positions and when settled well he came back to 9th with a solid ride and without taking any more risk. Gajser is now sitting in 8th place of the World Championship MX2 and is looking forward to riding on the spanish hard pack of Talavera de la Reina.

The Japanese 2012 MX2 Champion KEI YAMAMOTO found another very difficult surface to tackle and something which does not exist on the japanese shores and had a lot to learn about the riding on deep sand ! But another good experience for his future career.

The seventh round of the World Championship will be back after many years to the spectacular spanish track of Talavera de la Reina, stay tuned and follow us on our website and Facebook pages !

Giacomo Gariboldi, Team Manager: “We started the weekend in a great way with the 4th of Tim in the qualifying race but on Sunday after the fall in race 1 it was super to score these heavy points for the championship. Sometimes in these weekends you can easily score a zero so we are very happy with the overall 8th place in the championship.”
